   BIG DOGS EXPOSED

Sound familiar?  You have spent years in search of stock market investing basics and stock market successful trading strategies.  All you really want is the "Holy Grail" of entry techniques.  You add one indicator on top of another, switch from one guru to the next, until you are so confused and unsure of your entry system that you can't make entry decisions and stay organized.  You get so distracted and frustrated that you quit watching the markets all together!

(Author:  Peter R. Bain)

Shows you how FAST you can make money when the BIG DOGS get their way, which is ALL THE TIME.  And, we're talking ALL 80 markets here - not just stocks and commodities.  Even I am STILL surprised by how much power they have.

TRADERS’ GLOSSARY

Accumulation – Addition to a trader’s original market position – i.e., trader is buying.

Advance-Decline Line – Each day’s number of declining issues is subtracted from the number of advancing issues.  The net difference is added to a running sum, if the difference is positive, or subtracted from the running sum, if the difference is negative.

Arbitrage – The simultaneous purchase and sale of two different, but closely related, securities to take advantage of a disparity in their prices.

At-the-Money – Option whose strike price is nearest the current price of the underlying deliverable.

Average True Range – Moving average of the true range.

Breakout – Point at which the market moves out of the trend channel.

Bullets – Another way of saying “married puts.”  These combine deep in-the-money puts with long stock.

Candlestick Charts – A charting method, which originated in Japan.  The high and low are plotted as a single line, and are called “shadows.”  The price range between the open and the close is plotted as a narrow rectangle, and is referred to as the “body.”  If the close is above the open, the body is “white.”  If the close is below the open, the body is “black.”

Price Channel – Used in charting, it contains prices throughout a trend.  There are basically three different ways to construct channels: parallel, rounded, and those that connect lows (bear trend), or highs (bull trend).

Electronic Communications Network (ECN) – Independent execution systems set up by brokerage firms, which match new retail limit orders with compatible orders already in the system.

Fading – Selling a rising price, or buying a falling price.  As an example, a trader fading an up opening, or gap, would be going short.

Market Maker – A broker or bank continually prepared to make a two-way price to purchase or sell for a security or currency.

Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) – The crossing of two exponentially smoothed moving averages that are plotted above and below a zero line.  The crossover, movement through the zero line, and divergences generate buy and sell signals.

Oscillator – Technical indicator used to identify overbought and oversold price conditions.

Out-of-the-Money – A call option whose exercise (strike) price is above the current market price of the underlying security or futures contract.

Over-the-counter – OTC securities are not traded on exchanges – usually because they fail to meet listing requirements.  They are traded directly by computer or by phone.

Slippage – The difference between estimated transaction costs and actual transaction costs.

Small Order Execution System (SOES) – Computerized system developed by NASDAQ for immediate electronic execution of up to 1,000 shares of stock.

Synthetic Security – Security created by buying and writing a combination of options that imitate the profit and risk profile of a security.

True Range – The largest of the following: Today’s high minus today’s low, today’s high minus yesterday’s close, today’s low minus yesterday’s close.
